Eva earned a Master’s Degree in Economics and Management and worked in several corporations and financial institutions. She has found a meaningful purpose in Manual Therapy with implementation of advanced coaching techniques to reinforce physical recovery. She completed the 1250 hours Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy program at National Holistic Institute of San Jose and also became certified in Cupping Therapy, Kinesiology Taping, Functional Movement Techniques and Advanced Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) by RockTape. She completed a Clinical Rehabilitative Massage Specialty certification training by the Academy of Clinical Massage and has been also certified by NCBTMB in this specialty.

Training and practice have equipped her with deeper knowledge of Orthopedic Massage Therapy (Integrated Manual Therapy, Orthopedic Massage Therapy and Kinetic Chain Patterns by James Waslaski) understanding common soft tissue injuries, thorough assessment, treatment application that matches the physiology of injury, rehabilitation protocol and prevention.
She treats clients with muscle pain or tension caused by repetitive strain, impaired biomechanics or an acute injury and edema (swelling). Eva also addresses nerve pain, tension type headaches, jaw pain, muscle spasticity, limited range of motion due to other systemic and/or chronic conditions, restriction in joints, scar tissue and adhesions. Her work is specific, clinical and efficient.

Eva completed three training courses of 196 continuing education hours through Klose Training Lymphedema Certification - Lymphedema Certification, Manual Lymph Drainage (basic and advanced, Vodder technique), and Breast Cancer Rehabilitation.

She is trained in Complete Decongestive Therapy that consists of short-stretch compression bandaging, manual lymph drainage and education of clients about the importance of skin and nail care, exercise and other self-care routines to improve symptoms of lymphedema and to decrease risk of severe infection.

Her primary focus are patients undergoing breast cancer treatment. She helps with range of motion limitations due to scar tissue and adhesions, muscle atrophy/disfunction, Axillary Web Syndrome and other complications after the cancer treatment including lymphedema of the trunk, breast and/or arm after surgical lymph node removal or radiation.

Eva understands the importance of life balance and that mind and body affect one another in every moment of our lives. She believes that stress management, health supporting behavioral protocols, correct breathing patterns, sleep quality, physical activity, regular self-care routine and whole food diet are the key components for better recovery, stronger immune system, cardiovascular diseases prevention and graceful aging.

Clients have an opportunity to discuss with Eva practical and easy to implement day-to-day strategies to make their lifestyle change enjoyable, achievable and sustainable. Eva incorporates coaching into her therapy as effective guidance to behavior changes and overall health improvement.
